SAISD Primary Care Program

The San Antonio Independent School District (SAISD) Mobile-van Rotation ( COMD 8035) is a one day clinical rotation for fourth year dental students that is scheduled during the Fall and Spring semesters. The course builds on knowledge acquired in Preventive and Community Dentistry courses and provides an opportunity for students to participate in an ongoing community/school- based program. Dental students demonstrate their competency in the delivery of dental care, in a non-traditional clinical environment, to migrant and non-migrant children enrolled in the SAISD.
