Telecommunications & Networking offers voice mail services to departments. This service allows users to create, receive, store, reply to and forward messages from a telephone. Two packages are offered:
- Basic Service ($4 per month average) provides the ability to record, store, and retrieve voice messages. You may receive up to 100 one-minute messages per month, all overages will be $.05 per message. Messages can be stored for a maximum of eight days.
- Plus Service ($7 per month average) offers the same features as Basic Service with the following enhancements: you may receive up to 100 two-minute messages per month, all overages will be $.05 per message. Messages can be stored for a maximum of fifteen days. This plan also includes pager alert and wake-up call feature options.
Auto-Attendant provides applications ranging from departmental call routing to call processing menus for individual users.
Submit a SRF for voice mail services.
Include the following information on the SRF:
- Prime line number of the person receiving voice mail.
- First and last name of the person who will be the mailbox owner.
- Voice mail plan being requested: Basic or Plus. (If requesting the Plus Plan and you want the voice mail system to page you when you have an urgent message, please include the pager number on the SRF.)
- The extension of the attendant for the voice mail box.
