Clinical Teaching and Clinic Administration - As GPG 8 Group Leader I am the primary clinical evaluator for 25-29 DS3 and DS4 students in direct patient contact each year. I coordinate a staff of 3 auxiliaries for clinic operation and a 4-member faculty core for student instruction and assessment. I completed the UTHSCSA Academic Center for Excellence in Teaching University Teaching Excellence Course (Certificate) in April, 2012. I have been recognized by the Faculty Assembly with their Teaching Excellence Award in May, 2014, and selected by the Western Regional Examination Board as a Grading Examiner in October, 2014. |
