Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Sciences coursework and accreditation information
Our Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Sciences degree program consists of 64 semester credit hours of clinical laboratory science courses and clinical practicums taken at the UT Health Science Center San Antonio. Students must complete required core curriculum courses and program prerequisites at an accredited institution prior to admission to the program. The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, 1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, Georgia 30033-4097, to award certificates and baccalaureate, master's, doctoral, and professional degrees. The institution was last reviewed and reaffirmed in 2008. The institution's accreditation extends through 2018, and includes all programs offered on the institution's main campus as well as those offered at all extended program sites.
