Occupational therapy is a vital, evidence-based health profession that addresses the needs of individuals, communities, and populations. Occupational therapists work with people across the lifespan to support their ability to participate in meaningful living activities—or occupations. The OTD degree program at UT Health San Antonio is an exciting curriculum that prepares graduates to be highly skilled and compassionate practitioners. The Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) accreditation process for the OTD program is a multi-step process. The program has been granted Candidacy Status by ACOTE which allows us to admit students to the OTD program
The Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) program at UT Health San Antonio is no longer accepting applications. The final MOT class will graduate in 2019. The MOT program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) of the American Occupational Therapy Association c/o Accreditation Department American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), 4720 Montgomery Lane, Suite 200, Bethesda, MD 20814-3449 - (301) 652-6611.
