More than 200 allied health students are gearing up for the 2nd Annual Allied Health Games presented by Smoothie King at Louis Pasteur on April 15-16. The two-day event brings together students from different areas of campus as well as other institutions. Participants include students from the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio School of Health Professions and Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences as well as Abilene Christian University Department of Occupational Therapy.
The Allied Health Games are a way for students from various health care disciplines to come together for a day of fun, networking and team building. This year, participants will be collecting toys for children at University Hospital.
The official games include volleyball, tug of war, dodgeball, human knot, minefield, a relay race and more. Events will take place at the UT Health Science Center Recreation Grounds near Gold’s Gym.
