The goal of Online Teaching and Learning Team of ATS/AIS is to assist
faculty in the design and development of technology-based courses using
learning management systems such as Blackboard, streaming
media and other technologies.
Services and Activities:
The Online Teaching and Learning Team provides the following services free of charge:
Consultation & Training: Enhance faculty knowledge of multimedia approaches
to education via one-on-one consultation and hands-on workshops on various
multimedia topics and skills.
Course Development: Work closely
with faculty to develop web-based courses or CD ROM-based instructional software.
Course development services include consultation on overall course and project
design, project management, instructional design, programming services,
and field testing of prototypes.
Manage Web-based Courses: Assist faculty in establishing
web-based courses on the server and then manage the courses per Best-Practices
