ERD provides consultation and training services to help UTHSCSA faculty develop scholarship skills including designing research protocols to explore educational issues, writing grant applications and writing manuscripts.

Services and activities:

Collaboration: ERD staff collaborate with faculty on grant applications, educational research studies, manuscripts and presentations at scientific meetings to report research outcomes.

Consultation: ERD faculty work individually with faculty to guide development of skills in grant writing, scientific writing, research methods, data management, and data analysis.

Workshops: ERD conducts several campuswide workshops annually on various scholarship skills.
