Research & Development offers a complete engineering (analog,
digital & microprocessor) design and support service in the areas of
engineering research, consulting, design and fabrication needs to
provide innovative and workable solutions. (See Sample Project List)
- Electrical Design & Fabrication - Provide support for the development and design of
customized electronic equipment for research that is not commercially
available. All in house prototypes are supported by accurate
documentation, PCB development, electrical schematic capture (CAD
program), and theory of operation. We provide support in the design and
fabrication of various different types of prototypes, such as EMT heart
model, treadmill, hand-warmer, electrophoresis devices, amplifiers, etc.
Service is also available to prototype your design.
- Design Documentation - Provide support with various different computer aided
software packages; electrical schematics, PCB design, mechanical
drawings, theory of operation, calibration procedures, bill of
materials, software documentation (programming), logbooks of prototype.
- Printed Circuit Board Design & Fabrication - Provide support in the complete PCB design, layout and
fabrication of PCB. Support is aided by CAD program from single and
double layer boards. In addition, support is available to take your
electrical schematics to layout and fabricate your PCB design. All
equipment is on site, eliminating working with an outside board house.
- Prototype Debugging - Provide complete debugging process needed to ensure that
all requirements are being performed as specified. This includes, but
not limited, to debugging/or repair of other prototypes designed by
other departments.
