Distribution Technician

The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, Organ Transplantation Program is currently seeking a Distribution Technician interested in entering into a contractual relationship for per diem efforts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 1-2 years selling medical devices and/or biologics
  • Knowledge of tissue and related surgical applications
  • Proven track record in exceeding quota
  • Entrepreneurial drive and spirit
  • Ability to communicate with all levels in the organization
  • Mature judgment and excellent follow through in all areas of responsibility
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks, assign priorities and ensure efforts are accomplished in a timely and efficient manner
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate others and coordinate efforts to ensure efficient and successful outcomes
  • Ability and willingness to travel
  • Ability to work as an integral team member combining the strengths and abilities of a group to successfully accomplish organizational goals
  • Ability to act independently on behalf of the company
  • Basic proficiency in word processing software, spreadsheets and databases
  • Possess a valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills

Job Duties:

  • Develop/deliver marketing presentations
  • Responsible for revenue and margin development in assigned territory
  • Work with distribution partners to drive distribution of tissue into territory hospitals/surgery centers
  • Educate surgeons, surgical staff and administration on products and technology
  • Services the Territory's regional hospitals and surgery centers by providing inventory control and verification for consigned inventories
  • Work with, identify, and develop relationships with donor hospitals in the territory

Work Location:

  • Typical office environment, operating room environment

Tissue Bank Recovery Technician

The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, Organ Transplantation Program is currently seeking a Tissue Bank Recovery Technician interested in entering into a contractual relationship for per diem efforts for the families of tissue donors.
