CHARGE:

To serve in a consultative and advisory capacity to the President and to work with the Vice President for Academic Administration. To participate in the development of priorities, formulate and recommend plans, and facilitate actions that promote the professional development and advancement of women and minorities, faculty in particular, and all Health Science Center employees in general. The committee is required by UT System policy.

Term of membership: Three years

Additional Information: Committee meets four times per year. The Committee plans and develops activities and handles its work by email between meetings. No specific expertise is required but faculty and administrative & professional staff serving on this committee should be interested in the advancement of women and minorities and be willing and committed to serving the needs of the committee and the Health Science Center.
