GENERAL COMPLIANCE AWARENESS TRAINING (GCAT)The University of Texas System Board of Regents requires that each employee take General Compliance Awareness Training (GCAT) every two years. Training needs to be completed by August 31st.
The refresher training takes approximately one hour. It is divided into four modules, so you don?t have to take them all at once. Once you have completed all four modules, you will be recorded in the system as successfully completing the training. Also, you will be able to print a certificate of completion if you desire.
The training highlights some key areas that UT System Administration is currently focusing on, such as standards of conduct and ethics, use of social security numbers, and privacy and security over various institutional information.
GCAT can be accessed through the Knowledge Centre at: https://kc.uthscsa.edu.
The web training can be taken by audio or can be read from text. Instructions are provided at the beginning of each module.
In addition, live sessions will be offered to those employees who do not have e-mail accounts. Attendees must register by calling 567-5212.
If you have any questions, please contact your departmental administrator or office manager. Thank you.RETURN TO TABLE OF CONTENTS
