Institutional Compliance Program and Standards of Conduct Booklet

The Institutional Compliance Program and Standards of Conduct of the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio contains information that applies to all employees. The University and all of its activities are subject to the Rules and Regulations of the Board of Regents of The University of Texas System. The Board of Regents requires the University to publish a Handbook of Operating Procedures. In the event of any conflict between the Regents' Rules and Regulations and/or the Handbook of Operating Procedures and the Institutional Compliance Program and Standards of Conduct, the Regents' Rules and Regulations shall govern first followed by the Handbook of Operating Procedures.

The Institutional Compliance Program and Standards of Conduct does not constitute a contract between the University and an employee, student, or other individual and is subject to change by the University at any time. Such changes are effective whenever the University so determines. Although the University will attempt to update this document to reflect changes in policies and/or changes in federal, state, and local laws or the Regents' Rules and Regulations upon which this document is based, because of publishing, editing, and review schedules, this document may from time to time contain information that is outdated or no longer applicable.
