THE MISSION OF THE UT HEALTH SCIENCE CENTER AT SAN ANTONIOThe mission of the UT Health Science of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio is to serve the needs of the citizens of Texas, the nation, and the world through programs committed to excellence and designed to:
- educate a diverse student body to become excellent healthcare providers and scientists
- engage in biomedical education focused on seeking information fundamental to prevention, diagnosis and treatment of disease
- provide compassionate and culterally competent state of the art clinical care
- enhance community health awareness, education and practices thereby improving the wellness of the citizenry.
