Research Facilities
The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio has an excellent library, computing resources, and laboratory animal facilities. The departmental faculty members collaborate extensively with individuals from the clinical departments in the dental, medical, and nursing schools; such collaborations are particularly important in facilitating human-oriented research programs.
