Each EMT course is taught by EHS Department faculty.
The certification program includes classroom instruction, skills
practice laboratories, and clinical rotations which offer the
student the opportunity to apply their skills techniques in closely
supervised patient care settings. Following successful completion
of classroom and clinical instructions, students will be promoted
to field internship where they will work as a team with other
Paramedics to provide pre-hospital life support to the ill or
injured.
