Scheduling an appointment
Eye examinations are provided at the UT Medicine Ophthalmology offices at the Medical Arts & Research Center (MARC), at the UT Medicine Eye Clinic at the University Center for Community Health (UCCH), and at the Lions Low Vision Center of Texas. You or your physician may contact either of the clinics for an appointment.
To schedule an optometry/contact lens appointment, call (210) 450-9400.
Patients or their eye doctors can call Monday - Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM for an appointment.
Medicare and private insurance patients can schedule an appointment at the facility most convenient to them by calling (210) 450-9400, Monday - Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM.
UT Medicine Ophthalmology at the Medical Arts & Research Center (MARC), located in northwest San Antonio. Patient parking at the MARC is in the attached parking garage. A patient drop-off area is at the front of the buildng. The first hour of patient parking is free. Two hours parking cost $1.50 and the maximum daily rate for parking is $6.00.

The UT Medicine Ophthalmology offices at the Medical Arts & Research Center (MARC) provide a complete spectrum of eye care ranging from routine eye exams to the most complex consultations. There is a state-of-the art Ambulatory Surgery Center at the MARC where a majority of our physicians operate. However, some surgery will continue to be at University Hospital.
