Who We Are
Since 1982, the Lions Eye Pathology Laboratory, a section of the Lions Sight Research Center at UT Health Science Center at San Antonio, has supported the clinical, investigative, and academic requirements of South Texas' ophthalmologists and their patients. We are located on the 4th floor of the Robert F. McDermott Clinical Science Building on the Greehey Research and Academic Campus.

How to Submit Specimens (include specimen submission form and billing information)
Specimens must be submitted to your pathology service and forwarded to UTHSCSA Eye Pathology Laboratory with a request for specimen preparation and interpretation with report. Our laboratory will bill the referring pathology lab for technical services. We do not direct bill patients. A fee schedule is available upon request.
