FM Purchasing Office
The Facilities Management Purchasing Office is an external branch of the UTHSCSA Purchasing Department. The FM Purchasing Office processes requisitions in support of Facilities Management and the Health Science Center. The requisitions may vary from automotive, housekeeping, electrical and plumbing supplies to construction and renovation projects and repair services. All requisitions for materials, services, and renovations are purchased in accordance with the UTHSCSA Handbook of Operating Procedures (HOP). Facilities Management manages many materials, services, and renovation projects for the Health Science Center here in San Antonio as well as the remote locations at Laredo, Harlingen and Edinburg. The projects consist of specifications and drawings that must be made available for vendors and contractors to review for bid/proposal submittal.
