M1 Elevator Outage in
Medical School Building Starting Nov 2

 

Facilities Management is scheduled to refurbish the M1 elevator in the Medical School Building at the Long Campus. Downtime for this elevator is estimated at approximately three months and will affect all seven floors serviced by the M1 elevator. This upgrade includes a complete overhaul of mechanical systems, replacement of cabling, and electrical and reconditioning of the elevator cabin. This work is scheduled to begin Monday, November 2 starting at 7:00 AM. The work will be completed on approximately February 1, 2010.

 

The diagram below shows the location of the M1 elevator and alternate elevator M2 that can be used by faculty, students and staff to access upper floors.
