Protect Yourself Against Medicare Fraud
- Educational materials developed by the Office of Inspector General for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (OIG). Includes a PowerPoint presentation to complement the written booklet “A Roadmap for New Physicians: Avoiding Medicare and Medicaid Fraud and Abuse.” These educational materials were developed in response to physician educators’ reported desire for OIG resources to educate physicians on preventing health care fraud. The PowerPoint and speakers’ notes are designed to support hospital or university faculty who want to conduct live educational sessions to teach students, residents, fellows, or other interested health care providers about these important issues.
