OHR 2007-012 - WCI Function Moves to Environmental Health & Safety Department

We are pleased to announce that the Workers’ Compensation Program administration will move to the safety office on November 1. Mr. James Borrego will take over on that date as the Health Science Center’s WCI Program Coordinator.

Mr. Borrego will be available to help you with all the WCI questions and forms that the Office of Human Resources has handled till now. We believe that the Environmental Health and Safety Department provides a perfect fit for WCI issues. Our goal is to make sure we learn from the experience if one of our employees is injured at work. Mr. Borrego’s experience will be a big asset in our ongoing effort to keep all employees safe.
