OHR 2007-024 - June Work and Family Life Employee Newsletter

Our ability to interact successfully with others in business settings adds to our effectiveness as employees and increases our potential for career advancement.  An article in the June 2007 issue of Work & Family Life highlights one way to increase that effectiveness.  Entitled “Does a handshake matter? You bet it does”, this article provides some practical advice for employees about the seemingly simple task of shaking hands.  In fact, our handshake affects how people perceive us.  Read this article for a number of helpful hints!

There are a number of other excellent articles in the June edition of Work & Family Life.  You may reference the issue by clicking on:  http://www.uthscsa.edu/hr/worklife/06_2007.pdf
