OHR 2007-044 - Inactivation of Unused Job Titles

Over the past several years, the Classified Pay Plan has accumulated a number of job titles that have ceased to be used.  The percentage of unused classified job titles has increased steadily over the years. After being reviewed by our Compensation Team it is now time for some routine maintenance on the pay plan. 

Therefore, to streamline the pay plan document and enhance its ease of use, a number of classified job titles that currently appear in the pay plan will be inactivated.  You may reference the list of titles to be inactivated at:  http://www.uthscsa.edu/hr/inactivate.htm  Inactivation means that the job title and job code number will be removed from the Classified Pay Plan. 

Should a department subsequently find that there is need for a classified job title that has been inactivated, it can be reactivated.  Please simply call our Recruitment and Compensation Team for assistance at 567-2600.
