Vacation/Annual Leave
The number of vacation hours that eligible full-time employees earn per month is determined by how long the employee has worked for the state. Depending upon how long you have worked for the state, one may carry over vacation hours, within a certain limit, into the following fiscal year. The table below lists the details.

Sick Leave
Eligible full-time employees earn 8 hours of sick leave for each month or fraction of a month in service. There is no maximum accrual limit.

Personal Leave
Eligible full-time employees earn 8 hours of personal leave every four months (September 1, January 1 and May 1). There is no maximum accrual limit.

Part-Time Employees
Eligible part-time employees earn vacation, sick and personal leave proportionate to the percent time they are appointed.
