ABOUT

The Office of External Affairs is responsible for
fund raising, media relations, official publications, community
relations and special events. The media relations side includes
writers, editors and graphic artists who produce award-winning publications,
videos and news articles about the Health Science Center, its research,
programs and people. On the fund-raising side, we coordinate all
private sector philanthropy. Last year, the Health Science Center
raised more than $51 million in gifts and pledges,
the highest total ever raised in a single year at the Health Science
