HSC News is an official university publication designed to tell the public about the excellent educational opportunities, discoveries, clinical care and service taking place on the six campuses of the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.

The newsletter is posted every other week on the Health Science Center Web site.

Newsletter articles frequently include:

• important scientific discoveries
• major faculty and staff awards and honors
• campus speakers or events to which the public is invited
• announcements of large charitable gifts

All items are reviewed and edited by the HSC News editor, a member or the Health Science Center’s External Affairs staff.
