Headline News: $1 million grant to increase occupational therapists in schools

The Department of Occupational Therapy in the School of Health Professions has received a $1,077,765 grant. The grant, awarded by the Office of Special Education and Rehabilitation Services, will help increase the number of occupational therapists working with children who have special needs. Four researchers in the School of Medicine recently received a big boost: a Young Investigator Grant from the National Alliance for Research on Schizophrenia and Depression. Headline News: New emergency medicine residency announced

UT Medicine recently received formal notice of the approval of an emergency medicine residency program from the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education. Leading the program is Bruce Adams, M.D., director of the Center for Emergency Medicine in the School of Medicine.
