San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium begins today###

WHAT: The 35th annual CTRC-AACR San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium, where close to 7,500 researchers, clinicians and advocates from around the world are gathering to present and hear about the latest research, trends and topics of discussion in breast cancer, including drug trials and treatment methods
WHEN: Dec. 4-8, 2012
WHERE: Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center

The Cancer Therapy & Research Center (CTRC) at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, the AACR and Baylor College of Medicine jointly present the symposium.
MEDIA REGISTRATION AND PRESS ROOM:
As in previous years, the press room will be located in Room 217A/B/C of the Henry B. Gonzales Convention Center. We will open tomorrow morning at 8 a.m. CT and remain open until 7 p.m. CT that evening.
Press conferences will be held Wednesday, Thursday and Friday this week at 7:30 a.m.
You can pick up your badge, program and other materials in the main registration area at the designated “PRESS REGISTRATION” window. This area opens at 8 a.m. CT. Electronic press kits can be picked up in the press room.
The press room will not serve lunch, but there will be a concession stand nearby and beverage service throughout the day.
The room is set up for wireless Internet access. Just select SABCS 2012.
There are several landline phones scattered throughout the room for your use.
There are four public computers in the back of the room by the television screens, and these are networked to the printer. Please limit your use of these computers to 10 minutes.
The CTRC-AACR San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium press room will broadcast the general session on the big-screen TVs in the back of the room.
