Applications invited for respiratory care program

The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio is accepting applications through May 15 for the Bachelor of Science degree program in respiratory care. The next academic year begins in August.
The respiratory care program at the Health Science Center recently was recognized as one of the best in the country. Graduates have achieved a 100 percent pass rate on their licensure exams and a 100 percent job placement rate.
The demand for respiratory therapists is expected to increase 42.6 percent through the year 2008, and salaries are competitive with those of other health professionals.
