Redding elected to head dental group (6/27/95)Spencer W. Redding, DDS, MEd, has been elected president of the American Association of Hospital Dentists (AAHD). Dr. Redding is associate dean for advanced education and hospital affairs in the Dental School of The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He was elevated to the presidency of the AAHD at the group's seventh annual National Conference on Special Care Issues in Dentistry, held in Chicago. The AAHD represents dentists who focus on special dental patients, including those who are medically compromised and treated in inpatient and outpatient institutional settings. Dr. Redding has been on the Dental School faculty since 1982. His professional interests include oral care for medically compromised patients and public policy issues.
