The Summer Institute on Aging, which will provide the latest information on aging in a multidisciplinary format, is scheduled for the week of June 7 to 11, in Room 2.424T in the Dental School.
The 40-hour program is open to community health care professionals. Faculty from the Health Science Center, together with faculty from area universities, will present their expertise as it relates to the treatment and care of aging patients.
The institute is sponsored by the South Texas Geriatric Education Center, in collaboration with the Geriatric Research, Education and Clinical Center, the Health Science Center’s School of Medicine and School of Nursing.
