Teaching Excellence and Academic Skills (TEXAS) presents professional development workshops and courses to enhance teaching and scholarship at the Health Science Center. TEXAS programs are available without charge.
TEXAS programs are conducted by the division of educational research and development in the department of academic informatics services. The primary professional development program in the fall semester is the UTEC class (UTHSCSA Teaching Excellence Course) that meets Wednesdays from 4 – 6 p.m.
