If you are planning a campus event, especially one where you want the public or a diverse audience to attend, you should consider placing it on the Health Science Center’s Calendar of Events.
To place an event on the calendar, go to the Health Science Center home page,
www.uthscsa.edu, and click on the ‘Calendar of Events’ hyperlink next to the orange button, on the lower right hand corner, just above the search box.
First, read the frequently asked questions by clicking on the ‘FAQ’ hyperlink at the top right corner of the calendar page, which is located within the horizontal blue bar at the top of the page.
Next, in the middle of the page, click on the yellow-colored ‘Submit Event’ box. Fill in the information requested in the open-box fields, including a short description of the event and indicate the audience who might be interested in attending. If a Web page has been developed for the event, include its hyperlink as a calendar entry. When completed, just click on the ‘Submit’ button at the bottom of the page.
Calendar posting requests will be reviewed and approved within a day or two and the calendar entry will appear in the sub-calendar(s) selected. Posting events on the calendar can be done from any computer that has Internet access.
