Halloween Bash raises money for SECCThe Dental Outpatient Clinic sells chalupas during the Halloween Bash on Oct. 29. Proceeds from the Halloween Bash benefit the State Employee Charitable Campaign (SECC). Ten departments, including the Special Events Council, sold food, drinks, candy and baked goods. A silent auction was also held.
Spurs tickets now available The Special Events Council will offer San Antonio Spurs tickets for the regular season 2004-2005 to all Health Science Center faculty, staff and students.
The regular season starts Nov. 3 with the Spurs vs. Sacramento Kings game. Tickets are limited. Tickets will be available on Wednesdays between Noon and 1 p.m. Tickets for games in November and December will go on sale Wednesday, Oct. 13.
A table will be set up in the School of Medicine on the third floor across from the glass elevators. A complete list of games to be offered this year will also be available. For additional information, send an e-mail to

Dental Clinic selects Employee of the QuarterWilliam Dodge, D.D.S., vice dean of the Dental School, presents Bobbie Jo Rios, outpatient clinic clerk II, with the Dental Clinic’s Employee of the Quarter certificate and award for $150. Employees are selected each quarter based upon their professionalism, job performance and attitude.
