It’s that time of year again for each department to start collecting new gifts or money for children for the annual Gifts for Children program.

Gifts for newborns, aged 0 to 24 months, and teenagers, aged 13 to 18 years, are especially sought. Each department can check with their representative for more information. Gifts should be unwrapped and dropped off with each department’s representative. Gift cards and gift certificates should not be purchased to ensure that the children receive the gift.

In addition, there will be money jars at the Subway and the Dental Cafeteria to help raise extra money. Last year’s Gifts for Children toy drive resulted in more than 3,000 toys and other items being donated.

For more information send an e-mail to Gifts for Children coordinators Patti Lairsey at lairsey@uthscsa.edu or Kimberly Johnson at johnsonke@uthscsa.edu.
