The Health Science Center community is invited to hear Francisco G. Cigarroa, M.D., president, give his State of the University Address at 5 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 16, in Room 3.102A in the Pestana lecture hall.
Dr. Cigarroa will give a progress report on the Health Science Center’s achievements in 2004 and will discuss new initiatives for 2005. He also will discuss his goals and plans to continue the tradition of excellence in education, research and clinical practice at the university in the coming year.
The address will also be broadcast to the Texas Research Park in the SBC Conference Room 2, to the Laredo campus at the Hachar Building in Room 1.100.6 and to the Regional Academic Health Center at Harlingen in Room 2.120.
