The Special Event Council (SEC) is hosting an Indian Luncheon to benefit the American Red Cross Tsunami relief efforts. The luncheon will be held Monday, Jan. 31, between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. in the School of Medicine student lounge. The cost is $10 per plate, which includes Biryani Rice, vegetarian and non-vegetarian, Raita, Poori, vegetable curry, Samosa and Kheer. There will also be a few individual items on sale.
Presale tickets will be sold from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, Jan. 18, 20, 25 and 27 at the Special Events Council ticket table in the School of Medicine on the third floor across from the glass elevators.
All monies will be given to American Red Cross Tsunami relief fund. Robert Ross, housekeeping, is donating time to set up tables, trash cans and chairs for the luncheon.
