The Department of Surgery is pleased to announce the Employee of the Month for February. This program is designed to recognize an individual who demonstrates exceptional behaviors such as dependability, initiative, service beyond that required of the current position, trust-worthiness, congeniality and respect.

Recipient of the award receives a $100 gift certificate to North Star Mall, has their picture displayed for a month, and their name permanently displayed on a plaque outside the Surgery main office. Winners of the Employee of the Month Award for the academic year will be eligible for the Employee of the Year Award.

February’s Employee of the Month recipient is Ana L. Guerrero, administrative secretary of the division of trauma.

Ana is described as consistently meeting and exceeding her job responsibilities. She is an enthusiastic, dedicated employee with reliable work habits.
