The 2005 Education Research Methods (ERM) course, sponsored by the Education Research and Development of Academic Informatics Services, presents the third workshop in the series, “Instrument Design in Quantitative Research.”

The workshop, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., Wednesday, Mar. 23 in Room 4.484T in the Dental School, will focus on study design for quantitative research. Participants will review research design issues and outcomes measures using the RAPTOR model. The second half of the session focuses on the design of data collection instruments and includes demonstrations of two data collection software programs called Survey Monkey and Survey Tracker.

The course will be presented by two individuals from the academic information services department, David Henzi, Ed.D., educational development specialist, and Aggie Manwell-Jackson, Ph.D., multimedia specialist.
