The Health Science Center will hold the 2005 Summer Institute Conference June 6-10 in Room 2.424T at the Health Science Centers Dental School building, and all health care professionals are encouraged to attend.
This week-long course will take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day and will feature eight speakers per day, the majority of which are Health Science Center faculty or staff. The conference is designed to help healthcare professionals explore the most current practices, research findings and teaching principles in geriatrics and gerontology to enhance their knowledge elderly patient care.
Continuing education credits can be applied for the following:
Medicine
Nursing
Dental hygiene
Physical therapy
Occupational therapy
Licensed professional counselors
Long term care administrators
