Nearly 3,000 members of the Health Science Center community attended the annual Fourth of July picnic held Friday, June 24, on campus. A variety of activities took place throughout the day in conjunction with the annual picnic, including a bike rodeo, and visits from the Spurs’ Coyote and McGruff the crime fighting dog.

Thank you to Mary Yanes, chair of the Special Events Council (SEC), and all SEC members for the extraordinary efforts they put forth to make the annual Fourth of July picnic possible. The SEC’s unique ideas and constant dedication consistently make the annual picnic an enjoyable and memorable event.
