The School of Nursing held its Fall 2005 All School Assembly last week, presenting more than $200,000 in scholarship awards to exceptional students and honoring the scholarship donors.

“We are grateful for our scholarship donors,” said Robin Froman, Ph.D., dean of the School of Nursing. “Without their generosity, many students would not be here today.”

Cheryl Ross Staats, M.S.N., R.N., interim assistant dean for students, said: “The School of Nursing is pleased to be able to support these outstanding students through designated scholarship funds. It is noteworthy that the amount awarded this semester is double that for spring 2005. The support that the donors provide is exceptional and very much appreciated.”
