The Health Science Center is searching for the “best of the best” faculty members to receive this year’s Presidential Teaching Excellence Awards. The awards are presented to outstanding full-time faculty members who exhibit the finest principles in education.
Up to six faculty members will be individually honored during the annual faculty awards presentation in January.
Faculty members may be nominated by any of the following individuals:
• A chair of an academic department,
• Two faculty members,
• Or three students, residents or fellows.
Nomination forms may be obtained from the president’s office, department chairs and class presidents. Completed nomination forms should be returned to the president’s office by Oct. 3.
To be eligible, nominees must have taught as a full-time faculty member at the Health Science Center for at least three consecutive years and must not have received this award within the past 8 years.
