The Health Science Center is sponsoring the 2005 HUB (Historically Underutilized Business) Vendor Fair, where representatives from more than 35 HUB businesses will be able to display their products and answer questions.

The fair is scheduled to take place Tuesday, Oct. 18 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the auditorium. As a sponsor of the HUB Vendor Fair, the Health Science Center affords minority and women business owners the opportunity to exhibit their products and services, while allowing the Health Science Center community to become acquainted with the vendors.

A HUB is a corporation, sole proprietorship, partnership or joint venture formed for the purpose of making a profit in which at least 51 percent ownership of the business is by a woman and/or ethnic minority.
