11th ERM workshop is Nov. 16 The 2005 Education Research Methods (ERM) course, sponsored by the education research and development division of academic informatics services, presents its 11th workshop, “Approaches to Data Analysis in Educational Research – Part 2.”
This is a continuation of the statistical framework discussed in the October ERM session. This course will focus primarily on multiple regression, discriminative analysis and multivariate analysis of variance. The workshop will be held from 4 to 6 p.m., Nov. 16, in Room 4.484T in the Dental School.

Program to enhance knowledge of clinical trialsGain a basic understanding of clinical trials in the field of oncology, including how the trials work, why they are important to improving cancer treatments and saving lives, and how your safety is protected.
“Trials & Triumphs: People Helping Progress Through Cancer Clinical Trials” will take place Saturday, Nov. 12 from 9:30 a.m. to noon at the Health Science Center auditorium.
Registration begins at 9 a.m. and a continental breakfast will be served.
This event is sponsored by the San Antonio Cancer Institute, the Cancer Therapy & Research Center, Ortho Biotech and Clinical Trials Task Force.
