Congratulations to Rodney Kotara and Esteban Iglesias for their contributions to the Health Science Center and the facilities management department. Their extraordinary service earned them each an award.
Rodney Kotara Rodney Kotara has a keen understanding of his role as assistant superintendent of construction and maintenance, and he continues to learn and further develop his skills. He is often called upon to handle complex problems and he always maintains a positive attitude even when faced with difficult challenges. Rodney is self-motivated, responsible, dedicated and always willing to give extra effort when necessary. He gladly meets with and oversees outside contractors in the early morning or late night hours and weekends. Rodney is a great asset not only to construction and maintenance, but facilities management and the Health Science Center, as well.
Esteban IglesiasEsteban Iglesias joined the custodial services team at the Health Science Center in November 1996. Since that time, he has performed admirably in the positions of building attendant I, mover II, stores clerk III and is currently serving as painter II. Esteban has proven to be a loyal and dedicated employee who has contributed greatly toward the success of the facility exterior maintenance team. He is a true asset to the custodial services division and a great team player. He highly deserves to be selected as a facilities management employee of the quarter.
