Medina Valley Middle School invites you to participate in Career Day! An estimated 800 sixth- through eighth-graders will attend presentations concerning a variety of occupations from 9 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Friday, March 10. This is a great opportunity for Health Science Center employees to promote their areas of work.

The school requests that the volunteers give students an overview of their occupation, the type of training that is necessary (beginning in middle school), and the rewards and future of the particular occupation.

Seeing the tools of the occupation or any visual information makes the presentation more appealing to the students. So, if you have visual tools, you are encouraged to take them with you.

For more information, please contact Diana H. Humiston, student success coordinator at Medina Valley Middle School: . To obtain a response sheet, click on: www.uthscsa.edu/HSCNews/archive/CareerDay2006.pdf.
