First-year dental student Melissa Reed was surprised by her boyfriend, Derek Rosson, when he proposed to her on live TV at the Health Science Center’s dental clinic. Rosson entered his proposal idea into WOAI’s San Antonio Living Perfect Proposal Contest, which awarded the couple a diamond and platinum engagement ring. “The proposal was such an amazing experience!” Reed says. “It’s truly something I will never forget.” Reed and Rosson appeared on the San Antonio Living Valentine’s Day show and were surprised again when they received matching wedding bands.
