If you’re looking for a way to support the American Cancer Society and Health Science Center research, the Relay For Life may be a great opportunity. The event is designed to raise funds for and awareness of the fight against cancer in the San Antonio area.

The Health Science Center currently holds 6 active grants from the American Cancer Society. The grants assist researchers in studying numerous areas of cancer and in discovering new ways of fighting one of America’s top killers.

Relay For Life is a unique event that invites individuals to join together in the fight against cancer. It is a team event where participants walk or run around a track relay style for 12 hours. Dedicated volunteers from the community are needed to implement these events.

Relay For Life will be held in various areas of the San Antonio community throughout the months of May and June. To join, call the American Cancer Society at (210) 614-4212.
